Stage 9, Students Team for Shortform
Loyola Marymount students to develop digital content
May 21, 2008
The Disney-ABC TV Group's Stage 9 Digital Media has partnered with Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television to develop shortform programming for digital platforms.
Undergraduate and graduate students from the school will attend a Stage 9-sponsored workshop where they will pitch and develop original shortform projects with the help of the studio's creative and production executives.
In June, several projects selected by the studio and university will be put into pilot production.
"These students are the demographic that looks to the Internet as their main source of entertainment," Stage 9 GM Barry Jossen said.
