Grants and Awards
The School of Film and Television is pleased to announce that Alex Harris, Venkat Krishnan and Catherine Wolf have been selected as Hollywood Foreign Press Association Fellows for academic year 2012-2013. The awards are supporting the production of their senior/graduate thesis films.
SFTV Dean Stephen Ujlaki expressed LMU’s appreciation, saying, “We are very grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for its continued partnership through the HFPA Fellowship Grant. This generous award relieves some of the financial burden of talented and deserving SFTV students and enables them to more fully realize their artistic vision. The lessons they learn are invaluable as they prepare for careers in the industry.”
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association is a nonprofit organization comprised of journalists from approximately 55 countries with a combined readership of 250 million in some of the world’s most respected publications.
