On select Monday evenings, SFTV screens stuff to watch—from feature films to shorts to TV episodes and other content for our students and faculty to take in and discuss. We also bring in industry guests, including our talented alumni, to share their work and to offer insight into how their projects came to life.
What do you want to know about developing great story ideas and finding a way to bring them to life? What challenges and opportunities do people face in their roles—and how did they find a way around obstacles? Get answers from people who've been there and done it, and you'll walk away with a better understanding of exactly what it takes to craft engaging stories and to bring them to screens of all kinds.
These evenings are meant to be informal and fun. You'll get the chance to ask questions of industry guests, interact with your peers and professors, and mingle with SFTV alumni who return to campus to meet students who may one day become their employees or even collaborators.
Recent Movie Mondays include:
- PAIN AND GLORY | directed by Pedro Almodóvar
- BLACKkKLANSMAN | directed by Spike Lee
- GREEN BOOK | directed by Peter Farrelly
