Thaddeus Lamar
Filmmaker Bio
Thaddeus Lamar is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Raised in Virginia, Thaddeus developed a passion for filmmaking at a young age. After receiving a degree in Media Arts and Design from James Madison University, Thaddeus began planning his first feature film.
Armed with several digital cameras, Thaddeus filmed his hike of the 2,190 mile Appalachian Trail. This footage became the basis for the feature documentary, Barbarian Utopia: Encounters on the Appalachian Trail. Thaddeus now works as a film editor and has been involved with a variety of both documentary and fiction projects.
