Filmmaker Bio

Bree K. Jones is a Creative Producer passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices, particularly in the deaf and disabled communities. She fell in love with storytelling while co-creating I Hear You, a web series exploring the cultural and language divide between the deaf and hearing worlds.

At LMU, she has interned with Loud Sis Productions, Hello Sunshine, Women in Film (WIF), and the Television Academy Foundation, sponsored by FX Networks. With a background in development, research, and production, Bree aspires to direct and produce television. Her work explores themes of identity, connection, and the pursuit of belonging.

"I live by remembering my "why." When I lose sight of my dreams, feel discouraged, want to quit, etc... remembering my why is the motivation I use to keep going. Why I got involved in my career, why I care, why I'm doing what I'm doing. My "whys" helps me to gain my focus."
