I warmly invite anyone interested in the art and craft of cinematography and filmmaking to explore our Graduate Production Program here at the School of Film and Television (SFTV).  For over 20 years, serving both as Professor of Cinematography and a stint as departmental Chair, it has been my privilege to teach and mentor talented cinematographers, directors, and filmmakers.

Within our department, cinematography is approached as both an aesthetic and practical discipline, grounded in collaboration, creativity, and hands-on experience. Our curriculum guides students from the fundamentals of film to advanced digital technique, all within a supportive and inspiring community. Many of our MFA graduates have earned Student Award recognition as well as established and successful professional careers. It is my personal mission to inspire, instruct, and celebrate each student’s unique artistic and creative journey.
