Filmmaker Bio

Brandon “Monty” Williams is a filmmaker from Palos Verdes, CA. He loves making people smile with his humor, talents, and creativity. Drawing, writing stories and telling them in front of family, friends, and relatives since the age of 4, and a lifelong lover of movies, Monty knew that film was for him. His parents bought him his first video camera as a Christmas present when he as 9 years old. He taught himself how to edit at 10. He has made many short films and narrative videos on that camera, and even went on to making his own feature film.  Williams has also acted in theater since a very young age, and has been part of numerous different community theater companies from elementary through high school. He first knew that he wanted to become a filmmaker at age 15. 

Williams has a Bachelors degree in Digital Media Communications with a focus on Film Production. He is currently earning his Master’s degree in film directing. 

Whenever he’s not on the stage, in front of, nor behind the camera, He loves playing video games, watching and studying films, exercising, spending time with his friends and family, and exploring the outdoors. He also loves making rap music as a hobby.
