Sam Zheng
Filmmaker Bio
Siming Zheng, who goes by Sam, is a non-binary director, production designer, and makeup artist from Hohhot, China. Growing up in Beijing, Sam started their interest in the world of cinema from a very early age under the influence of their father.
As of 2025, Sam is a graduate student at Loyola Marymount University pursuing an MFA degree in film production with the track of Directing Fiction. Their genre of focus is horror but is interested in various types of storytelling tools.
