One thing that always keep constant in no matter time era and how technology evolves - human connections. My films explore and reconstruct the idea of human connection, which is full of nuances and subtlety, but always projects profound emotional aftertaste.
I am mainly focusing on arthouse cinema, and my story often involves queer characters and societal/family challenges they are facing; it often presents cultural displacement especially in Chinese and American; and generates ambiguous disclosure which leaves the final chapter to the audience’s interpretation.
