Filmmaker Bio

Katelyn Shonborn is a director and storyteller whose work explores psychological tension, true crime, and complex female protagonists.

A graduate of LMU, they have helmed three student films—Stay Toxic, Mother I'm Home, and Heroin, But This Time With an E—each challenging stereotypes and diving into themes of perception, identity, and survival.
